The is a set of shots taken at Mound House, Nevada. The "Then" shot is from Railroads of Nevada Vol. 1 by Myrick and is dated to around 1910. It was taken on the V&T mainline looking north towards the Depot. The "Now" shot was taken last October(2009) when George Sapp and I donated the #14's whistle to the NSRYM.
The actual photo location has been eliminated by the widened highway 50 so I'm standing a few feet closer to the depot. Wandering around this area you quickly unearth many small artifacts that point to this location's importance to both the V&T and C&C. This is the last comparision until our next trip to the C&C in early June.
