Guys...
Per Rogers pics, I've seen new ballast spots along spurs around the Antonito engine house.
Last year, Cumbres got a large load of needed pea gravel liberally spread along the main, outside the section house platform.
Cumbres is used as a way stop for some tour bus folks, also is a destination for Cinder Bear summer kiddie trains. The less mud there, the better.
The Chama depot area got pea gravel dumped last spring, but it needed to be spread over to where people actually got on and off trains along the main track. This area gets muddy cuz of loco water drips. I shovelled gravel along there til it ran out. I hope Soni orders more and gets the job finished.
the Chama yard crossings also got ballast put down. They really need crossing timbers.
It doesn't look like anybody's worried about what color all this rock is.
