I just took a few shots of 41 and 340. I hope you guys don't get tired of my pictures.
We parked 41 over the trestle to look at something under the loco, and so I grabbed this quick shot from down in the river. This shot is neat not just because of the angle, but the skyline is unaltered. Tis is one of the few ways to get a clear sky behind the locos, no coasters.
The Edna and Durango are parked on the siding across from the depot,so wile on my break I stood on the Durangos rear platform and took this shot and the next of the train coming to the depot.
Here is 340 sitting in the roundhouse awaiting parts for her rear coupler. The last thing on the todo list. The coupler bushings are egged out so we have to make new ones, We are just waiting on the raw material. Once that is fixed she can be rolled out and put to work and 41 comes in. She looks great all clean with new aluminum trim. I hope you guys don't think we over did the trim
hehe
And the last is a shot of me at the throttle of my baby!
