Bob:
Your comments interest me because I have at times been into trying to find history of the Railroad and Chama. I think that a special place in Chama is a good idea but would wonder if "people" would know that was where to look for history. I have long thought that the Friends at some point in time need to establish a concreter 365 day presence in Chama. I had suggested to Terri one time that a museum/visitor center located under the hill along Terrace avenue such that it would only be visable from the railroad side would be a great addition to the Chama scene. It would also allow the depot to be converted back to its former configuration with the agents quarters etc as it once was and become part of a historic tour that I invision some day for the Chama complex. I assume the historical materials held by the Friends you would see going to the center(or library) in Chama.
