More naming names!

Well Mikee Trents got me so flustered that I forgot the other important part of my last post.
In 1997 Les Jarrett and I colaborated on several video projects, including a video on Tennessee Pass. We heard crews call Pueblo, .....Peblo, as if the U were not there. Like Pebbles, Peb-lo.
Another one that got me was Buena Vista. I would call this BWENA Vista....Like Wane-a -Vista! A customer who lived there later told me it was called Buna Vista, and the u is long sounding. All I know is that I had to get two flat tires fixed in that town two days in a row. The guy at the tire place said they have guys throw nails along the highway for out of staters! I had my trusty Car air pump running while we were on location at Dotsero, which allowed us to make it to Eagle for a tire repair.
