Don't look for much serious railfan stuff out on DVD. Right now the going rate is around $3,000 to master(copy existing master)to DVD, then add the replication cost(must do 500-1000 to get the price down reasonable), then add in new packaging for the cases, and such, and you have a small fortune tied up in existing or even a new title that duplicates what you have already in VHS. There is no profitability, and lots of exposure(read risk)at this juncture for anything that is not general audience related. Maybe in the future when mastering charges fall A LOT!
