One interesting thing about your train in August. It was the only time 484 ran in 1968(to Chama and Back to Alamosa). I wonder what happened with 493 which had teamed-up with 483 on all the other runs from Alamosa prior to that? Maybe the flue time was up?????

PS Also interesting that this duo of 483 and 484 on your train would ultimately be the first two to operate on the C&TS. Guess that says something about their condition doesn't it.
