Hello all,#346 is just fine. As has been mentioned we were concerned about operating her due the fire danger resulting from the extremely dry summer we've been having. As for the rod noise, yes, the rod bearings are loose and are scheduled to receive new brasses over the winter hiatus after the Santa train runs. Just to be sure I wasn't posting unverifyed information I just went out and looked at #346's frame keys - they're all in place and tight. The derailment did minimal damage - bent the sander pipes and a couple of binder bolts but little else. #346 is scheduled to operate next on October 25th and 26th. Ex-GLRR #40 will operate on August 23rd and 24th. #346 will again operate on November 29th and 30th and December 13th and 14th. Come on out to the museum and check it out.Phil JohnsonCMO, Colorado Railroad Museum
