Phil will hopefully comment on if there is a mechanical issue with 346. There were many including myself who wanted 12 moved because of its peeling paint. Being the first thing you saw as you approached the museum the "curbside appeal" was not ideal. With the 346, gon and caboose it looks a lot better for the upcoming big events. The plan was to run the diesel last weekend and GTL 40 for the whistle stop train because of the dry conditions. #40 was moved into the roundhouse, where 346 had resided.
