The Little Engines 1.5" scale 1870's Baldwin 2-6-0 is an incredibly detailed model locomotive. Interestingly though, its boiler drawings clearly (okay, not that clearly) show separate dry pipes: one solely serving the throttle and the other serving the manifold, with no connection between the two. Is there any reason for this to have been a modification from a possibly different orientation in scaling it down?
