Judging by the picture of #12 in the engine house it looks like the backhead has been removed from 12. Otherwise you would be able to see the fire door opening rather than most of the smoke box door of #9 behind it through the boiler. If it is a recent picture it will be unlikely we will see it steam on the loop this year.
