With all due respect to the D&RG, I'll take the South Park hands down for breathtaking ROW's and the unique character of their motive power. What made that road so neat was the very thing that undid them. Sad they did not survive long enough for railfans to save some of it. The view from Kenosha Hill or the Palisades is unrivaled. Add in a Mason or Condon-stacked 2-8-0 ... what more can be said ? There was nothing else quite like the DSP&P anywhere in the world.
