Dan, thank you for the reply. The last time I rode was on the '06 Fall Colors Saturday train and Taylor Rush showed me where the wye will go and I saw the short section with the spring switch that you mentioned.

I'm wondering if plans are to go ahead as far as possible with the money that you have possibly allowing you to hedge against the inflating costs of anything that you might have to purchase new?

Any donation that I make would be rather small as I am retired and on an adequate (for now), but fixed, income. I thoroughly enjoy both the SVRy and the C & TS and have been doing them on alternate years.

Maybe a smart move would be to save my sheckles and have one big trip and hit three (include the D & S) all in one big trip. From where I live it is straight east on I-84 then down into Utah and over to southern Colorado. Being almost 70 though, I don't want to delay any trip.
