A major THANK YOU to all involved in staging an absolutely incredible outing on the C&TS, culminating with the full length run of Goose 5 and the 10 car freight on Monday and the fantastically spectacular show put on by the 315 on the Cumbres Turns on Wednesday. I have never experienced a finer day of narrow gauge railroading, from the Jukes' Tree in the morning to the photo shoot that night.
The Goose performed marvelously and the 315 showed herself to be a fully road-worthy working locomotive. I hope I look half that good when I'm 113 years old!
