John--I took this ride in May of this year. Beautiful and fun. Some differences between this ride and one on the C&TS.
If you get a chance, please take a picture of the plate that they have for crossing car to car. This looks much safer than the ones that are in use on the Cumbres and Toltec. I did not get a clear picture when I was there. One good thing about booking the trip thru the cruise line, if the train is late, they will wait for you.
