Respect and postings

Many thanks to our hosts and sponser for providing this free forum allowing the exchange of news, history, ideas and many excellant photos.
We should all remember that posting here is not a right we are entitled to, but a privelege offered to us as guests of our hosts. I am not aware that they have placed any unreasonable restrictions upon our participation or restricted registration. Sometimes I have started a reply, thought better, and never finished it (and other times probably should have thought a little longer).
May we all respect our host's wish that we respect the other members of this board. Personally, I welcome discussions that are either based on known facts, or what is a rumor or an opinion is clearly stated as such.
It does not appear to me that our hosts have any intention of becoming the "thought Police" and monitor or approve every post; or decide who should have the privilege to participate. If we ALL fail to try to respect each other and limit ourselves not in just our words, but also consider our tone and intent, then we will ALL lose this valuable exchange. There are few boards that allow those posting this much freedom.
This is my opinion, and is not intended to be aimed at any individual here, it is a reminder to myself as much as anything.
