The locomotive appears to be a little large for a 30" gauge. From the relative size of the air pump, bell, generator etc. I would judge it to be in the same class as Sumpter Valley's #50, at something like 114,000 lbs. I would have to say that I have not seen a 42" ga. locomotive with an outside frame, but there are a lot of lokies I have not seen. I am sure someone can enlighten me on this.
