IIRC, the train robbery sequences of "Texas Rangers" with Jack Oakie and Fred MacMurray were filmed around Espanola on the Santa Fe Branch as well. The movie people used one of the T-12s with a phoney stack, big wooden pilot, fake oil headlight.
