Re: Colorado Territory -- 1949 movie

My mind was taking a vacation when I wrote that I was not certain of the locomotive used in Colorado Territory. I knew, I knew, that the 315 was used -- but somehow I simply slipped a cog. Not enough sand under the wheels. In fact, this movie was the last time the 315 operated under its own power until its successful restoration in 2007.
In Around the World in 80 Days, the 315 was not under steam, but was being pushed by a diesel, disguised as a box car. A most unusual box car, one which is clearly emitting shimmering heat; the diesels exhaust.
