It's being reported that Alamosa had a major salmonella outbreak that is being blamed on the municipal water system there. Apparently something got cross-contaminated that shouldn't have been. Fortunately no deaths have been reported so far, but speaking as a water professional this is definitely NOT good news! Hopefully they can clean things up soon...
