The general rule of thumb is that one-day events are diesel powered, the two-day events steam powered. When I was at the museum of rules training last weekend the 346 was undergoing maintence in the steam dome and smokebox areas.
The crew said 10 was to be used Saturday. Unless there were some last minute changes that is was the power will be.
