Asbestos removal needs to be done under the supervision and liability insurance of a contractor licensed to remove asbestos. Most jurisdictions require six million in coverage and a pollution rider. The personal protective equipment is a bear. The situation is eased if an industrial hygenist or engineering firm writes the procedure for containment and removal.
