Another old LP that's worth having is one by Merle Haggard called "My Love Affair with Trains". It came out about 1971 or '72, and I doubt that it's still in print. Some of the old time country record stores might be able to locate a copy. Argueably, it's the best recording Merle Haggard ever made.

Fred, I second your thoughts about Johnny Western. That's an excellent album. I believe Johnny will be playing at the National Festival of the West in Scottsdale, AZ next weekend. If anyone's in the area, that's a fun festival to attend.
