I grew up in Pasadena and several times my father took me down to "Streamland Park" and I recall my dad and younger brother fishing in the stocked pond next to the amusement park. Most of the times we were there the steam locomotive was not in use and a gasoline powered "diesel" hauled the train. But one time the steamer was in use! Quite a thrill for a young railfan.

I have the fantasy of sometime in the future being able to display the Venice Miniature locomotive at Orange Empire Ry Museum similar to the Overfair locomotive at California State RR Museum.
