This was probably one of the few times that both locomotives were fired up at the same time. I would agree that the gentleman on the right is Gerald Best, and of course the one on the left is Ward Kimball. It wouldn't surprise me that perhaps that the occassion was the farewell run before Gerald's locomotive left the GFRR.
