know its an old thread, but I do have information
I was up in Cheyenne yesterday for a tour of the steam shop
She is indoors at the far end of the shop. her paint is in less the good shape, but she would need to be sandblasted and grind it down more in order to be repainted
I asked the guys there what was going to happen to her, first response I got was "Paint it Yellow?"
haha...not funny. They said that Utah was the first choice. I'm hoping for somewhere in Colorado, She would be nice to have in Golden, and since I'm still hoping they will let be volunteer up there, and I will keep waiting until I head up there on Saturday for the steam up of 346

and the rather ugly magnetic decal they threw on her. Me and my Pal Justin wanted to take it off and hide it, but we opted against it
