The firebox on that Shay needed replacing as I recall. Brad Milne has done some work. Haven't heard from him a a couple years. AS for the West Side site itself, the Miwuk Tribe has pretty much taken over and will begin filling in the pond soon. Streets with curb and gutter and infrastructure are in. 80 some houses to be built on the site. The HHYV engine house and other structures are in poor shape and I fear what I may find when I visit up there next month after the heavy winter we have had out west.
