I spoke to Don a couple weeks back. He said that the current lawsuit with Creede is settled in his favor. That still doesn't solve Creede's sentiment and the need for railroad equipment to have a railroad. His most current efforts are for the track.

As for RGS rebuild ... any property close to Telluride comes with a ridiculous price tag and celebrity power politics. Rico has become a bedroom community to support the new lifestyles of Telluride. Then there's all the wooden trestles. A recompleted RGS would be a monumental task that would never recover the investment. The Dolores and Ridgway groups are the 2 groups that will provide the best at home RGS interactive experiences.
Which leads me back to my sentiment of supporting what exists so that there are no more RGS stories.
