Kevin: In fact the C&TS never crosses the Divide. Also, the correction implies that Cumbres Pass is on the Divide, it is not.
The old Mainline to Durango did cross the Divide around Willow Creek. I always thought that it was funny that a sign on HWY's 84/64 welcomes you to the Chama Valley when the sign is on the other side of the Divide from the Rio Chama!
