National Guard called to Chama

A news release from the Gov's office and quoted on the Journal's website says a dozen national guard troops, part of the Quick Reaction Force which specializes in search and rescue, have been sent to Chama to assess the situation and report back to the state Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. The Guard contingent includes two Blackhawk helicopters and several high-profile all-wheel-drive trucks
