The Buckley mine spur was facing north and on a 4% grade. I was told they always switched it with the CB yard switcher or with the locmotive facing Gunnison, so could they have done it on the way out of town?

Had a runaway off that spur once and the cars were not stopped until Almont.

That grade was still visible a few years ago, but I think the golf course destroyed it.
