Looks like this is old home week in Durango. I did pre Engineering there sept 89-April 94, while working on the D&S summers. I remember the snow storm that brought down the Ft. Lewis buildings as I moved apartments in that storm. 2 Days afterwards when the snow was shoveled down to the sidewalk you stood looking eye level (about 5ft 7in) at the snow, and the 1st 12in where a solid block of ice, clear. It was great for examples for statics engineering class looking at how the micro-lam roof beams split along the neutral axis.
Those days D&S didn't run winter trains...
