Having spent the better part of two years worth of "D" sessions trying to paint coaches, the problem doesn't seem to be what color to paint them as much as trying to nail one or two down for the 3 to 4 days it takes to prep and paint them (and then another day to letter them). The other problem stems from the fact that we do not have a car restoration facility were work can be done on the cars regardless of the weather (and were they will, at least for a short time, come freshly painted without a top coat of coal cinders). The consist of coaches out of Chama would look much better if they were all painted alike. Heck, after a year of sessions, there's still one coach that is half lettered, another with half its roof painted and at least one or two that have been completely repainted in the (San Juan?)green with no lettering. It's being stuck between a rock and a hard place: you take out a couple of coaches, you lose profits; you let 'em fill them up and make money, the coaches look like dog doo.
