I took this picture on May 31st. The train is near milepost 287 west of Antanito. As you can see from the picture, the red parlor car clearly stands out and IMHO is very pretty. I know it isnt exactly historical, but it sure looks good in a photo. My vote is for maroon or tuscan red with gold lettering in C&TS. I too believe along with some of the others in this thread that being photogenic (sp?) is extremely important for this railroad to attract new riders. Anyway I hope you enjoy the photo. My wife I enjoyed riding the parlor car as well as rooting around in the high desert to photo it.
