Thanks for pointing out that nice railcar seats are already available. This is exactly the kind of information I hope to get, by posting reports of my project on The Internet.
I am very much concerned about the seating to be used on the next generation of C&TS RR cars. And, I terribly regret ever having posted the words "airline quality". What I want is simply very comfortable seating, not hard and confining like the present school-bus arrangements. My notion is that, if a person buys a ticket for a full-day trainride, he or she should have a genuinely comfortable place to sit, and not be packed into a coach like a sardine.
