Yeh, dan I knew you were kidding and so was I. Thank you for the great job you do! I always carry the good intention of putting in more crew time than I find the time to do. When you think about it, crewing and working on the historic equipment is really a remarkable thing to be able to do.
Most of what the vast majority of us do on a weekly basis is so much like what gazillion other people on this earth are doing, but when we are working at the rr, we are in a very unique, rather small in number in this day and age group of folks. It has occurred to me especially when firing #3, that on that particular day in time, I am likely the only one on the planet firing a wood fired Heisler locomotive. Being able to participate in our great operation is a great blessing for each of us and very much for our ridership.
