The old Pony Express station is better marked and more visible (as I recall - it's been almost 10 years) but the telegraph station is almost directly across the road.

It's all mostly rubble now, but if nothing else, poking around the ruins in the quiet of the desert is a good break from driving.

Before Nevada got so populated, listening to the silence for even an hour or so could give you just a touch of the flavor of actually being stationed there.
