18 was used for a few months this summer on the Mt. Hood Railroad in Oregon (East of Portland in the Gorge). I didn't get a chance to go over and see it, who knew it wouldn't even make it the full season. Apparently the arrangement was not financially viable for the locomotives' owner, plus the whole railroad was put up for sale about the same time steam ops began. Mt. Hood has very little freight, and is dependent mostly on their various tourist operations. They recieved substantial damage from storms last winter.
