Thanks Roger. I am still working away on a Crested Butte annual for the RR Museum. Very interesting area with lots of fascinating operations. Even had a collision between a C&S train and the Crested Butte train in Gunnison. Crested Butte train once hit a small house that was being moved across the tracks.

C&S rotary was brought into Gunnison a couple of times to be repaired in the D&RG roundhouse before heading east over Alpine.

Lots of interchange in those days. The D&RG even rented C&S stock cars as late as 1917 for use in the Gunnison area as the stock seasons on the two lines did not occur at the same time.
