A while back, Jerry, Taylor and I spent a few evenings coming up with different paint schemes for the 1203. Here is one that I thought was a nice design given the square shape of the Porter we had to start with. Kind of a bumblebee scheme that I thought would go with their yellow rider boxcars.
Like Jerry said, we supplied several different paint schemes including the D&RGW design to give them a good selection of choices. Like Jerry, I too was very surprised that they selected the design they did.
