I haven't drawn in the switchback up near the tipple at Monarch. I would have to do an overlay to try and do it justice since the earth has been moved around up there. The valuation map for Monarch is very busy with the changes made over the years. It shows a wye, a balloon loop and a switchback. The 1884 map in the 93/94 trails among the columbine just shows the switchback at the tipple.
