This is gonna be a real interesting venture. I have spoken to a couple members who remember when # 3 pulled a winter train as far as Hwy 7, which was as far as the tracks ran at the time. One of them said never again! That was a distance of about 5 miles round trip. This train will do a 10 miles round trip from McEwen to Sumpter and return. Running in the winter is going to be difficult to say the least. We are pretty excited and apprehensive at the same time. Wish us good luck.
