Goose #5 lights

In looking through pictures of Goose #5 I have come upon a question...On the front of the cab, by either door, there is a small light above the windshield. On the photo for this month on the calendar they look black. I have a couple of shots of it coming back into Durango after dark a couple of years ago and they might be red.
Any ideas as to what color they were or are?
