Hi,
I found this hidden in another post

The engine in Albany is Georgia Northern # 107, ex-FEC #88, built in 1911. She is wearing #750's straightened and patched together rods, traded when #750 was violently slipped after passing over a flange oiler.
I have heard of false hot box detector alarms when the firebox of a steam loco goes by.
I was wondering if anyone has heard of similar occurrences.
Also have flange oilers or hot box detextors been used on the narrow gauges?
