It would appear engine 453 was not moved on this train.
Assuming the date of December 4, 1948, is correct for the Richardson photo: it shows light engine 487 arriving Alamosa from Cumbres with engine 453 already in the yard.
Engine 487 arrived Alamosa 7:55 AM, tied up at 8:10 AM. At this same time extra 481 east was just leaving Estrella.
Engine 453 apparently was moved from Chama to Alamosa either Nov 30 or Dec 2 1948. Notation not made on sheet.
