I forgot to post this earlier, and - fearing that an update
might not get noticed - decided to add it here:
The photo is by the well-known foamer, Jim Shaughnessy. Per Earl, the engineer in the photo is Roy Turney and the fireman is Eldon Morgan, who once told Earl about "this guy chasing the train while holding a big camera (a 4x5 speed graphic?) out the driver's side window of his car with both hands" (and probably steering with his knees, but that has yet to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt). If you still have a question as to whether Jim really deserves to be further immortalized not just as a great photographer but also as 'The Well-Known Foamer' (as opposed to 'The Un-Known Soldier'), please see [
