The only information that I can add is that the engineer on helper #483 on the last
westbound revenue freight - August 28, 1968 - was Eldon Morgan and the fireman
on road engine #484 was Jim Shawcroft.
Two of these have been posted before, but to save time searching & linking here's Jim in his cowboy hat as the train departs Alamosa:
