Just checked the article in the Jan/Feb 2001 Gazette; there are two pics of 317's tender, one taken in 1942 with he small Grande, the other trailing behind #318 in 1948 with the large Grande. There are no records about the whole story, including how the tender ended up at the RGS after #317 was scapped...
