I worked on and ran this locomotive when Frank Coyne owned it. He kept it at his business, Devine Nuts. We had temporary track we would lay in his driveway and run it back and forth on. Seriously, I'm not convinced it is a Grant. Henry Ford told his people he wanted a Grant locomotive. You didn't say 'NO' to Henry Ford, so they went out and found an old locomotive and called it a Grant. The builder's plate that was on it in Texas said Grant - 1867. Even if it is a Grant it probably wasn't built until the 1880's.
