The 1203 is a beautiful engine. I will be sorry to see it go too. It would have been nice to get certified as an operator on that one, but I'm not moving to Colorado!
The weekend was wonderful. 8hours over just in time for some sleep, 11+ hours on Sat, almost the same on Sunday and 8 hours back to the west (wet) side (yes it is raining today). Who wouldn't do that for a chance to work on the greatest 3 foot railroad in the world!?
So now it's President Taylor and VP Casey? The young whelps have taken over. But to those who know these two realize that guys like them are the very future of this hobby. Another reason to put your stock in Sumpter Valley. Can the 252 be far behind?
